Non-Medical Screening Volunteers
Help facilitate various aspects of the screening such as check-in, flow control, ECHO area, height & weight, and technician assistant.
Support the organization by procuring financial or in-kind donations. Organize a drive or spearhead a committee.
Help with data entry, record maintenance, event preparations, etc.
Help with registration, set-up, tear down, guest services, and other day of event needs.
Organize a screening event at your school, church, or community center. Help promote screening events and other opportunities within the community. Recruit students to attend screening events.
Read and interpret ECGs, discuss results with staff, parents, and teens.

Volunteers needed for screening events! Volunteers help support events in various roles such as check-in, flow control, ECHO assistant, technician assistant, and more.
We welcome volunteers 14 years and older to assist at AugustHeart screening events.
Most screening events are scheduled during the months of April and May and on weekday afternoons. There are only a handful of weekend events scheduled on weekends and throughout the year. Please check back often for new events!
Ready to Apply?
Sign up to volunteer with us by completing our volunteer application (2026 Volunteer Application coming soon!).
Once you submit your application, it will be sent to AugustHeart to review. Your application is NOT complete until you sign and submit your HIPAA and Confidentiality Agreement. Volunteers under the age of 18 must also have a parent/guardian sign their HIPAA form. You can upload your HIPAA form to your application in Bloomerang Volunteer, or you can email it to info@augustheart.org.
If any minor volunteers do not have their own email address or would prefer to use a parent/guardian email address for their application and communications, please email (info@augustheart.org) for assistance.
After your completed application has been accepted, you will be able to sign up for events.
If an event is full, you can still add yourself to the wait list, and you will be notified if a spot becomes available!
Group Volunteers: If you are volunteering as part of a group, you will need to sign up for events through your group’s coordinator. You will be added to the schedule by your group leader. All group volunteers must still complete an individual application to be eligible to volunteer with AugustHeart.
