ECG and ECHO Technicians

Ready to be part of AugustHeart’s mission to screen teens? We can’t do it without YOU!

AugustHeart is looking for experienced ECG technicians and certified cardiac sonographers to help provide the free screenings to teens in our community. ECG technicians perform a 12-lead pediatric ECG, and sonographers perform a limited 2-D pediatric ECHO.

Technicians are eligible to receive compensation OR service hours if desired for events worked.

Please note: Most AugustHeart screening events are scheduled during the week. ECG technicians wishing to participate in events must have some availability during the week. At this time, AugustHeart cannot accept new technicians who are ONLY available on weekends.

All technicians wishing to participate in screening events are REQUIRED to attend the mandatory information session prior to the start of the spring screening season.

The 2025 Tech Information Session session is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 9 AM – 11 AM. 

The 2026 application will be open until Monday, February 2nd.
